If the PS3 will be considered a PC in order to dodge overseas console taxes doesn't that mean that the PS3/PC will be in the computer isles and not the console departments.
the developers decide if you pay for online service and multiplayer on their games. And believe me all if not most you will be paying for online multiplayer just because the costs of running and supporting online features is insanely expensive.

I didn't appreciate COD3 being out so soon, because all they want is to capitalize on the launch days of the PS3 and Wii. Also to take in 360's 10 million fanbase. Think of what it did for the 360 launch and multiply that by 3.
But in return we get a lesser game, just a mear upgrade.
every 360 owner gets 6 months free repair after purchase. So that's for disc scratching, overheating...whatever.
PS2 owners were completely screwed as far as the infamous disc error. After you buy one you'll immediately notice the overheating within a few days and get a free replaced 360 within a week.
So really there's no reason to be squeemish about buying one. If there's a problem send it back and get a new one in the mail in a week.

A12. Basic services available free for current PCs will be free of charge but content and specific services will be charged from the beginning.
Told you guys that content would be charged if the developers choose to, which they will. How can they fund very very expensive online servers without making money.
Now I know the idealogy of people on forums is that their fairly wealthy and dedicated to the platforms. But with me I must digress that I am in fact not as generously flexible with my revenue. Just a humble college student.

50$ for PDZ (notice one game)
40$ for 13 month XBL
20$ for Play and Charge (essential!!!)
I've actually had to get COD2 for CHRISTmas, and sold both PDZ and COD2 in order to get GRAW.

I can see why. I don't want the arcade feeling of FPS, TPS, or RPG's. You guys remember the arcade weapons you'd use to shoot people with on the screen. It's dumbed down, over simplified, and innaccurate. Although a Wii remote would be worse, it'd be 10+ feet away from your TV, not arcades 2 feet max.
No arcade shooters or games for me sorry, I'm taking a stance against Wii.
